Group Lokia owns 17 senior residences across Quebec and New Brunswick. After struggling for too long with outdated management software, Valérie Tremblay, Director of Human Resources, decided to test Agendrix in one of the residences. Today, the schedules and timesheets of the group’s 1,400 employees are seamlessly managed through Agendrix.
Before / After (time per week)
Scheduling was decentralized. Each residence relied on Excel or another slow and unintuitive software. It was also difficult to check whether all shifts were filled. Calls, texts, and emails were used to inform employees about staffing needs.
Schedules were previously printed and emailed to employees as PDFs.
Timesheets were managed through software, with employees clocking in digitally, but manual adjustments were still required to align with schedules. As a result, the approval process quickly became tedious and time-consuming.
The care schedules for the entire group are now managed centrally. Agendrix makes it easier to track availabilities and open shifts, check staffing levels, access information, and contact employees. Editing the schedule is simple.
Employees now always have access to the latest version of the schedule on Agendrix’s mobile app.
Agendrix ensures that timesheets match the schedule and alerts managers to any discrepancies. Holiday pay calculations are automatic.
Why Choose Agendrix?
- Effective communication with employees through the integrated messaging system, making communication smooth and quick
- Optimization of staff planning, with open shifts helping to identify actual staffing needs
- Elimination of paper management with the vacation request system, where employees submit requests and approvals are based on seniority
- Ease of use for employees with the open shift system
We have seen a significant impact on our labor costs. Agendrix helps us avoid relying on staffing agencies as much as possible, primarily thanks to the easy management of open shifts.
